Terms of Service

By creating an account on PawAddress or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

PawAddress is a marketplace that connects pet parents with pet care providers. We facilitate bookings and payments but do not directly provide pet care services. PawAddress acts as an intermediary platform.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use PawAddress. One person may not maintain multiple accounts.

As a pet parent, you agree to: provide accurate information about your pet's health, behaviour, and special needs; ensure your pet's vaccinations are up to date as required by the provider; communicate any dietary restrictions, medications, or behavioural concerns; pick up your pet at the agreed time; and pay all applicable fees.

As a provider, you agree to: maintain accurate business information and pricing; provide services as described in your listing; maintain a safe and clean environment for pets; hold all necessary local licences and permits; carry adequate insurance where applicable; report any incidents or injuries immediately; and comply with all applicable animal welfare laws.

All bookings are made through the PawAddress platform. Payment is processed via Razorpay at the time of booking. PawAddress charges a platform commission of 10–15% on each completed booking. Providers receive payouts to their registered bank account on a T+2 business day cycle after booking completion.

Our cancellation policy is detailed on the Cancellation Policy page. In summary: cancellations 48+ hours before check-in receive a full refund, cancellations 24–48 hours receive 50% refund, and cancellations under 24 hours are non-refundable. PawAddress reserves the right to override this policy in cases of emergency, natural disaster, or provider misconduct.

Pet parents may leave reviews only after a completed booking. Reviews must be honest, factual, and non-abusive. PawAddress reserves the right to remove reviews that contain hate speech, threats, false claims, or personally identifying information. Providers may respond to reviews publicly.

Users must not: use the platform for any illegal purpose; impersonate another person or entity; circumvent the platform to avoid paying fees; harass, abuse, or threaten other users; post false or misleading information; attempt to access other users' accounts; or use automated tools to scrape data from the platform.

PawAddress acts as a marketplace and does not guarantee the quality of services provided by listed providers. We are not liable for: injury, illness, or death of any pet while in a provider's care; property damage during service delivery; disputes between pet parents and providers; or loss of data due to technical issues.

Our total liability in any matter arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the fees paid to PawAddress in the 12 months preceding the claim.

If a dispute arises between a pet parent and provider, PawAddress will attempt to mediate. If mediation fails, disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Hyderabad, Telangana, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

PawAddress may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms, fraudulent activity, repeated cancellations, low ratings below 2.0 stars, or failure to comply with KYC requirements. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use of PawAddress after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Hyderabad, Telangana shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these terms.
